  • Demonstrate innovation in their product, service or delivery model
  • Will benefit from the support on offer from Oxford Innovation

What are scale-ups?

A ‘scale-up’ is a business looking to grow/expand in terms of: market access, revenues, added value or number of employees. A scale-up already has an established business model and is seeking to grow while maintaining operational control.

Scale-ups are a vital part of the UK economy: they only form 6% of the UK’s small business population, but are responsible over half of the job creation in the UK.
